Kerala, now being on the list of one of the worst-hit states in the country has reported 32,819 Covid-19 cases as well as 28 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Also, the total number of cases in the state stands at 2,47,181. In this regard, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan says, “For the first time since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic last year, Kerala has reported more than 30,000 Covid-19 cases in a day. The state’s active caseload has risen by a whopping 255 percent in the last two weeks”.
Although, several states other than Kerala are struggling through a persistent rise in the Covid-19 cases. Even, the national capital is not untouched anymore.
Furthermore, India has reported more than 3,00,000 cases in a span of 24 hours. The total number of Covid-19 cases in the country stands at 17.6 million.
In addition to this, vaccination is also being carried out on a large scale. According to a statement issued by the union health ministry, 14.65 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been consumed since the outbreak of the vaccination in India.
