The fear of lockdown among migrant laborers is now clearly visible. After Monday’s announcement, a large number of crowds have started gathering at the bus station and railway station. Children in their laps and with their bundles of goods on their heads have started going towards their village.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has appealed to the migrants not to leave Delhi. He has assured all kinds of help to take care of the need of the migrants. He said that as long as the lockdown is there, the government will take care of all your needs. You won’t have any problems here.

LG Baijal has expressed deep concern over the crowd of migrants at the railway station and bus stand. He has met Chief Minister Kejriwal and the Chief Secretary to take stock of the situation. He has directed to take every necessary step to prevent these migrants from going to the village.

Enormous crowds were seen at Anand Vihar bus stand at Anand Vihar ISBT and Kaushambi bus stand. There is less rush of people at railway stations than bus stations because these days someone who has a confirmed ticket is being given entry into the station. Because of this, more passengers are not going towards railway stations. Convincing the migrants, CM Kejriwal has urged him not to leave Delhi like last time.

The appeal to follow the Kovid rules is known that after holding a review meeting with LG last week, Chief Minister Kejriwal announced the imposition of weekend curfew in Delhi. Its duration was from 10 pm Friday night to 6 am Monday. But in view of the deteriorating situation, a lockdown has been declared. During this time everyone has been appealed to follow the Kovid rules.
