Union Home Minister Amit Shah was admitted to AIIMS early Tuesday with fatigue and body ache complaints after he was discharged from Medanta hospital following his COVID-19 recovery.
“Sh Amit Shah, Honourable Home Minister has been complaining of fatigue and body aches for last 3-4 days. He has tested negative for COVID-19. He is comfortable & is continuing his work from hospital,” a statement from AIIMS read.
He tested again in AIIMS today and his result came negative, he will be staying in AIIMS for post-Covid care. Shah was admitted in Medanta for 12 days and was discharged after testing negative on 14 August. He was staying in home isolation and avoided the Independance Day celebrations as well. He had tweeted about his recovery and thanked the health personnel at the hospital.
