The Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora announced that 7 lakh hand sanitizers, 46 lakh masks, 6 lakh PPE kits, 6.7 lakh face shields, 23 lakh pairs of hand gloves arranged for the safety of voters.
Bihar elections are to be conducted in three stages. The Election Commission of India decided that the voting time is going to increased by 1 hour and the maximum number of voters at a polling booth has been reduced to 1000, amid COVID-19.
Election Commission is looking well prepared for the upcoming Bihar Elections while Bihar is suffering from COVID-19 infections. The count of total positive Coronavirus cases have crossed 173k out of which more than 1k cases are coming daily. In this situation, if the elections are going to be conducted, then the safety of voters is much needed.
