
The Common University Entrance Test will be valid at Jawaharlal Nehru University to take up admissions for advanced diploma courses and postgraduate courses for students.
Whereas Delhi University and Jamia Islamia University have refused their acceptance to CEUT scores.
The reason stated for the denial of the admissions through this test was given by authorities. That admissions for 2022-23 won’t be completed on such short notice.
DU and JMI authorities have stated that they won’t be accepting applications having CUET scores.
JMI registrar has said that they will be accepting applications for various courses. Via the current admission the process only. And for future years the university will decide on the CUET.
JNU has officially announced that they will follow the said procedure of CUET and admissions for advanced diploma courses and post-graduate proficiency courses will be done via CUET for 2022.
Exams dates have been published and the said exams will be conducted in the third week of July .
The exam application process has already begun on Friday and will conclude on June 18, 2022.
On May 19 UGC Chairman said that the 2022 PG admissions will be done through CUET and not through class 12 scores. Moreover, he added CUET PG , unlike the CEUT UG, wasn’t mandatory for central universities.
Over 10.87 lakh students have applied for the exam so far. Also, the best date for filling out registration is 22 May 2022.
