A 42 member high powered committee was formulated by the university to control the matters of the NEP. The committee suggests continuing the three-year programmes along with attribution of the four-year degree programme and also to structurise one year and two-year postgraduate programmes. Which was set to be agreed upon in the meeting.

The committee also said “the quality of the degree conferred by the university should not be compromised”, therefore the “existing structure and workload should continue along with the addition of various courses”.
