Vistara introduces new ‘Book On Google’ feature

Now passengers can book flight tickets for Vistara through an integrated ‘Book on Google’ feature. The airline Vistara will allow customers to search as well as buy tickets.

Full-service airline Vistara announced in a statement today that, to avail, the facility customers will need to log in with their respective Google account and details like name and contact details will be filled automatically. Customers will be able to book Vistara flights without being directed to any other website.

Vistara said, “Customers will also progressively be able to view and purchase optional upgrades, pre-purchase additional baggage allowance, seat selection, and much more on the same Google interface.”

Customers can also use the payment options saved on their Google account, and even add a new credit or debit card during the booking process.

Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer Vinod Kannan said, “We are sure that this new ‘Book on Google’ feature will enable an even more hassle-free experience and bring greater convenience to our customers.”

The implementation of the New Distribution Capability (NDC), achieved through a technology partnership with Amadeus is the reason behind the newly introduced booking service.

Vistara Airlines is owned by Tata group and Singapore Airlines.
