
At 1:50 this afternoon, India’s Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri tweeted India’s air traffic stats since the lockdown was opened.
The lockdown in India started on the 25th of March and was announced over on the 25th of May.
His tweet read, “Indians continue to fly high! Domestic Operations on 16th August 2020, Day 85 till 2359 hrs. Departures 947 93,639 passengers handled. Arrivals 945 89,887 passengers handled. Total movements 1892. Footfalls at airports 1,83,526. Total number of flyers 93,639.”
