Air India Crash Update: Air India Boeing-737 Plane crashed after trying to land twice in bad weather

FlightRadar24, a Swedish internet-based commercial flights tracker stated that the Boeing-737 flight from Dubai to Calicut International Airport, which was carrying 190 passengers and crew, including 10 children, tried to land twice from two different directions before the ultimate crash.

Out of the 190 individuals on board, 123 are injured and 20 are in critical condition.
The survivors of the crash have lauded the efforts of aircraft captain, Wing Commander Deepak Vasant Sathe, expressing their gratitude and claiming that he ‘saved their life.’ One of the passengers said, “It was raining heavily. The pilot had given a warning before landing saying the weather was really bad. He tried for safe landing twice but lost control. The aircraft shot off the runway and skidded off and it broke into two pieces. It was a miraculous escape for many.”

The Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, visited the crash site to oversee the rescue efforts that are currently underway.
