The 2025 Tiguan SUV has an updated design and Volkswagen is expected to include a hybrid powertrain underneath the hood, at least in the European variant. The Indian market is expected to receive a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine with all-wheel drive, identical to the one seen in the previous generation. At the moment, the sole Indian variant produces 187 bhp and 320 Nm of torque.

Volkswagen has released a teaser video that provides a glimpse of the forthcoming Tayron R-Line trim. The LED taillights are connected smoothly across the width of the vehicle with a light strip and feature distinctive animated graphics.

The forthcoming Volkswagen Tayron, seen in spy photos captured in China, is expected to come with a 15.0-inch infotainment touchscreen that serves as the vehicle’s primary command hub. The driver will also have a digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the passenger is given an individual infotainment display.
