UP CM Yogi Adityanath reveals inaugural ticket for MotoGP Bharat GP 2023

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was presented with the first ticket for the 2023 MotoGP Indian Grand Prix, which will be held at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) in Greater Noida. The event, officially named “The Grand Prix of Bharat,” marks the return of a major international racing competition to India after a decade.

The MotoGP race, scheduled for September 22-24, is a historic moment for Indian motorsports enthusiasts. Prominent motorcycle manufacturers like Honda, Aprilia, KTM, Yamaha, and Ducati will participate in the event. Notably, the Bharat GP will be the first venue outside of Europe to host a MotoE event alongside MotoGP, Moto2, and Moto3 races.

Fairstreet Sports, the organizers of Bharat GP in India, presented the first ticket to Yogi Adityanath, acknowledging his support for sporting events in Uttar Pradesh. Dorna Sports, the owner of MotoGP’s commercial rights, sent a team to the Buddha International Circuit to assess its technical capabilities and broadcast setup facilities.

Norma Luna, Dorna’s Events Director, led the team in meetings with all stakeholders involved in the Indian Grand Prix to ensure a high-quality performance. The anticipation for the MotoGP Indian Grand Prix is building, as India prepares to host this prestigious international racing event once again.
