Tata Motors’ Uk JLR sales dip 11% YoY to 5,558 units in November 2024

Tata Motors has reported a decline in its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) UK sales for November 2024, with sales falling by 11% year-on-year (YoY). The company sold 5,558 units during the month, compared to 6,251 units in the same period last year. Despite this decline, the combined market share of Jaguar and Land Rover stands at 3.62%.

The steepest decline was observed in Jaguar sales, which plummeted by 53% to just 725 units. This drop is largely attributed to the ongoing transition phase within the Jaguar brand, as it pivots towards a new strategic direction, including electrification and model updates.

In contrast, Land Rover has continued to perform strongly, with a 3% year-on-year increase in sales, reaching 4,833 units. The brand’s popularity remains robust, especially in the luxury SUV segment, where it continues to attract a diverse customer base, including high-profile buyers such as the British royal family.

In the meantime, Tata Motors shares opened at ₹793.00 today, reaching a high of ₹797.50 and a low of ₹781.00 today. The stock remains within its 52-week range of ₹696.25 (low) and ₹1,179.00 (high).
