Nissan exports Magnite to Indonesia

The Magnite built on the philosophy of “Make in India, Make for the World” received an overwhelming customer response in Nepal within the 30 days of it’s launch.

On Monday, Nissan India announced the export of Magnite to Indonesia, South Africa and Nepal. Ever since the launch of the Magnite in December 2020, Nissan India had produced over 15,010 subcompact SUV’s including 13,790 for India and 1,220 for exports.

The Magnite built on the philosophy of “Make in India, Make for the World” received an overwhelming customer response in Nepal within the 30 days of it’s launch. Within the 30 days of it’s launch in February 2021, it got over 760 bookings, in a market that had monthly passenger vehicle sales of 1,580 units.

President of Nissan Motor India, Sinan Ozkok, said that they had already made a mark in the Indian market with its impeccable design and latest technology, it has been driving excitement amongst the customers on a global scale, and they were confident that the game changer SUV would strengthen the exports as part of the Nissan NEXT transformation plan for the sustainable growth. The early global exposure has helped Nissan in India to enhance the quality and attain global benchmarks. The company has newly hired over 1,000 employees across the manufacturing plant. Earlier this year, they introduced the third shift in the manufacturing process.

The price of the Nissan Magnite launched in India starts at Rs.4.99 lakhs. It has entered the sub compact SUV segment to give a tough fight to the popular SUV’s. It has become one of the most affordable SUV’s in India due to the price is has offered.
