Nissan Motor has officially commenced exports of the 2024 Magnite SUV, with the first batch of 2,700 units shipped from Chennai this month. Among the initial destinations is South Africa, making it the first international market to receive the updated compact SUV.
Unveiled in India on October 4 this year, the 2024 Magnite has been designed to cater to both domestic and international markets. The Japanese auto giant has already sold over 1.50 lakh units of the Magnite globally and is eyeing further milestones with this refreshed model.
During the launch, Nissan announced its ambition to expand its export footprint to more than 65 countries, targeting both right-hand and left-hand drive markets.
Priced competitively, the new Magnite SUV starts at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, making it an attractive choice in the compact SUV segment. This introductory pricing is valid for the first 10,000 customers.
Manufactured at Nissan’s Chennai facility, the Magnite leverages the company’s joint venture with Renault. The facility’s high production standards and cost efficiency enable Nissan to cater to diverse markets while maintaining global quality benchmarks.
