Honda Cars India has unveiled the third-generation Amaze, a compact sedan packed with enhanced features and cutting-edge technology. Priced between ₹7.99 lakh and ₹10.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Amaze offers great value for customers seeking a premium sedan in this price bracket.
One notable change with the latest Amaze is the absence of a factory-fitted CNG option. As per reports, earlier models allowed dealership-level CNG installations, but Honda has now directed authorized dealers to collaborate with RTO-approved CNG conversion centers. This move ensures safer and more reliable CNG installation for customers who prefer this eco-friendly fuel alternative.
The all-new Honda Amaze is powered by a refined 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual or a smooth 7-step CVT transmission. For added convenience and driving pleasure, the Amaze now features paddle shifters, elevating its position as a segment leader.
While the CNG variant will only be available on manual transmission models post-conversion, it promises decent performance with slightly reduced power compared to the petrol-only version.
