Maruti Suzuki Ertiga crosses 800,000 domestic sales milestone, nears 900,000 mark

Maruti Suzuki’s popular MPV, the Ertiga, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 800,000 units in domestic sales. It took the Ertiga 11 years and three months to reach this impressive figure since its launch in April 2012.

Additionally, around 58,000 units have been exported during this period. As of May 2023, the Ertiga has sold a total of 894,931 units, coming close to the 900,000 mark.

The current generation Ertiga, introduced on the MPV’s 10th anniversary, offers nine variants with prices ranging from Rs 835,000 to Rs 12.79 lakh.

Powered by a new K-series 1.5-litre dual-jet, dual VVT engine with smart hybrid technology, the Ertiga delivers a maximum power of 75.8 kW and a torque of 136.8 Nm.

It is available in both petrol and CNG variants, providing a claimed mileage of 20.51 kilometers per liter (petrol) and 26.11 km/kg (CNG).
