The new model includes third-row AC vents, a second-row centre armrest and a 60:40 one-touch tumble function, which is similar to previous seven-seat models. The MX 7-seater is available in the same five colours as the MX variant: Everest white, Midnight black, Dazzling red, Red rage and Napoli black.

In terms of mechanics, the Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-seater is similar to its 5-seater version, featuring a 156hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. The 7-seater may also be equipped with the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine featured in the 5-seater trim.

With the launch of the XUV700 MX 7-seater, Mahindra has increased the market’s options for luxury and reasonably priced SUVs. The choice comes with the recent introduction of the higher-spec XUV700 Blaze, extending consumer options.

The Blaze edition of the XUV700 was recently launched by Mahindra, priced at ₹24.24 lakh ex-showroom. Only front-wheel drive and seven-seater configurations will be offered for the Blaze Edition, with options for petrol AT, diesel AT and MT engines.
