Hyundai India has upgraded its popular Verna midsize sedan with a new exterior color, Amazon Grey, expanding the choice to eight monotone options. While the entry-level variant’s price remains unchanged at Rs 11 lakh, the prices of all other variants have increased by Rs 4,000, with the top-spec SX(O) DT variant now priced at Rs 17.48 lakh.
In addition to the new color, the Verna now features a stylish rear spoiler that resembles an aftermarket design, enhancing its sporty appeal. Dual-tone options, including Atlas White with a black roof and Fiery Red with a black roof, remain available exclusively for turbo-petrol variants.
The Hyundai Verna continues to offer impressive performance with its 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 115 hp and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 160 hp. Both engines are available with multiple transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, CVT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
Competing with popular models like the Volkswagen Virtus, Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, and Skoda Slavia, the updated Verna retains its position as a strong contender in the midsize sedan market.
