Hyundai Exter new variants launched with a sunroof, prices start from Rs 7.86 lakh

Hyundai Exter, which debuted in July 2023, has been one of the Korean brand’s most popular compact models in recent years, despite the fact that customer preferences have shifted toward larger SUVs. With prices ranging from about ₹6 lakhs to ₹10.50 lakhs, Exter is an affordable choice for a lot of consumers on a tight budget.

On Friday, Hyundai unveiled the addition of two new variations of the car to the product brochure: Exter S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT), both with sunroofs.

The Hyundai Exter is largely aimed at a younger car-buying audience in the nation, therefore the company focuses the feature upgrades on the new versions presently available on the model. Exter S+ (AMT) and S(O)+ (MT) share several features, including an eight-inch infotainment screen, an electric sunroof, a digital cluster with a coloured TFT driver display, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

To make models more appealing at the price range they are available at, some manufacturers have recently adopted a strategy of reducing features from top models to mid variants. Exter’s newest versions are priced at ₹7.86 lakh (S(O)+ with manual transmission) and ₹8.44 lakh (S+ with AMT).
