
Harley-Davidson is making quite a buzz for its new e-bike segment. On Tuesday, the company unveiled its electric bicycle called Serial 1. It is a premium motorcycle and will be available for sale from March 2021.
The company claims that the e-bicycles will offer a combination of bicycle and electric power with a pedal assist.
Aaron Frank, Brand Director, Serial 1 cycle company said in a statement, “we hope to once again change how cyclist and the cycling – curious move around their world with a Serial 1 eBicycle.”
The company projects annual growth of 6% between 2020 to 2025 in the e-bike market. “The dynamic, fast-growing eBicycle space is at the forefront of a global mobility revolution,” said Frank.
Serial Number One derives from Harley – Davidson’s oldest known motorcycle. The brand commenced its project under Harley – Davidson’s Product Development Centre with a tiny group of motorcycle and bicycle fanatics.
