
Ferrari is getting ready to join the electric vehicle trend. The CEO of the Italian sportscar brand, Benedetto Vigna, stated that the company is set to unveil its first-ever all-electric vehicle in 2025. He has also disclosed that the Ferrari EV would be available for sale in 2026. During an interview with the British motor magazine Autocar UK, Vigna reportedly stated that the future EV prototypes have already completed thousands of kilometres of testing.
According to reports, Ferrari’s CEO stated, “When we do electric cars, we will produce them in the right way.”
Regarding the forthcoming EV, Ferrari has not disclosed any detailed information. The EV will have fake exhaust tips, as shown in the spy photos of the prototypes. Sound will be one of the car’s main features. Despite being an EV, it will have the exhaust sound of an ICE vehicle. Vigna has stated that the car’s next electric vehicles will feature unique sound characteristics
Ferrari filed for an exhaust note patent earlier in 2023. The forthcoming EV’s battery packs, range and other details are still being hidden.
