Citroen signs MoU with CAB-EEZ Infra Tech to supply 2,000 units of e-C3 EVs

French automaker Citroen stated on Monday that it will supply urban e-mobility player CAB-EEZ Infra Tech Pvt Ltd with 2,000 of its electric vehicle e-C3 over the course of the year.

Citroen India released a statement announcing the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two companies, which flagged off the first 100 e-C3  units. It further stated that this adds 200 units e-C3 units to the current Cab-E fleet, bringing the total to over 300 units that are in operation across Pune and Mumbai.

Shishir Mishra, Brand Director of Citroen India, stated, “Cab-E has been one of the early adopters of the e-C3. Their continued choice of this product is a validation of Citroen’s proposition as a key player in promoting sustainable transportation solutions.”

According to Cab-E Director & CEO Kuldip Ghosh, “This partnership not only benefits stakeholders but also propels Cab-E to a leadership position in the electric urban mobility market.” Citroen e-C3 has a range of 320 kilometres (ARAI-certified) on a single charge and can reach almost full charge in less than an hour, according to the company.
