Citroen discontinues C5 Aircross base Feel trim

Citroen has discontinued the entry-level Feel trim of its premium SUV, the C5 Aircross, which was priced at ₹36.91 lakh (ex-showroom), as reported by Autocar India. The SUV is now exclusively available in the top-spec Shine trim, priced at ₹39.99 lakh.

The Feel trim lacked premium features like a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, wireless phone charger, traction control, and hill-descent control. It also featured a smaller infotainment screen and simpler upholstery compared to the Shine trim.

The fully-loaded Shine variant boasts all the premium features and is offered in optional dual-tone paint schemes at no extra cost. Under the hood, the C5 Aircross continues with a robust 2.0-litre diesel engine, delivering 177hp and 400Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Citroen claims a fuel efficiency of 17.5kpl for this configuration.

As part of its year-end offers, Citroen is providing benefits of up to ₹1.75 lakh on limited MY2023 units, valid until December 31, 2023. While Citroen has globally unveiled a next-generation C5 Aircross concept, there are currently no plans to launch it in India.
