BMW Motorrad launches flagship M 1000 RR superbike in India

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the M 1000 RR, its flagship superbike, in India. The bike comes in two variants, standard and Competition, with prices starting at Rs 49 lakh (ex-showroom).

As the most track-focused version of the S 1000 RR, the M 1000 RR proudly carries the prestigious ‘M’ badge, denoting its high-performance nature. The 2023 model features a lightweight carbon fiber fairing and aero-optimized winglets that generate increased downforce.

It is powered by a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine producing 209 BHP and 113 Nm of torque. The engine incorporates BMW’s ShiftCam technology and utilizes various lightweight components. The M 1000 RR offers advanced features such as multiple riding modes, electronic cruise control, Dynamic Traction Control, ABS, launch control, and more.
