
German car manufacturer Audi India introduced the new Audi RS5 Sportback in the country on August 9. The updated model is priced at Rs. 1.04 crore.
Unlike the previous model, the new RS5 comes with a four-door Sportback. The model uses a twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 444bhp and 600Nm of torque. According to CarWaale, the car has eight gear automatic transmission and can sprint from 0-100kmph in 3.9 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 250kmph.
Coming to its exterior design, the new model has a redesigned wider single-frame grille, matrix LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels, and split LED taillights.
The interior has also been revamped. The RS5 Sportback is now equipped with a 10-inch infotainment cluster, panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control. The driver also gets a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster.
According to The Financial Express, the Audi RS5 Sportback will be competing against the BMW M3 and the Mercedes-AMG C63 in the Indian market. Other Audi models expected to be launched soon include the all-new Q3, the Q5 and the Q7 SUVs. The all-new A3 compact sedan is also expected to be launched in India. Expect the convertible A3 to arrive as well like before.
