BYD India has launched the 2024 Atto 3 electric SUV in the nation, with a slew of upgrades including two new models and a significant price reduction. The 2024 BYD Atto 3 range now starts at ₹24.99 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory), a whole ₹9 lakh less than the previous asking price for the single, fully equipped option. The MY2024 model not only becomes more affordable, but it is also available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium and Superior.
The 2024 BYD Atto 3 now has a smaller battery pack and is available in the new entry-level Dynamic trim. Compared to the Superior model, which still uses a 60.48 kWh battery with a 521 km (ARAI certified) range on a single charge, the Atto 3 Dynamic uses a 49.92 kWh battery pack, ensuring a range of 468 km. This results in a significant price reduction for the new basic variants over the Superior variant.
A panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree holographic image system, seven airbags and other features are included. The 12.8-inch spinning touchscreen infotainment system has been retained, while the globally updated model got a bigger 15.6-inch unit earlier this year.
The vehicle is powered by a single electric motor tuned for 150 kW (201 bhp) and 310 Nm peak torque. The updated Atto 3 maintains fast charging across all models, allowing the battery to be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 50 minutes.
