Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are currently on cloud nine as they are enjoying the new chapter in their life. The couple recently hosted pre-wedding celebration in Europe, which was a cruise trip with halts in several places across the continent. Earlier, the couple celebrated their pre-wedding function in Jamnagar, Gujarat, wherein they had Rihanna perform live. In the latter celebration, the Ambanis had Katy Perry to perform. Both the celebrations were carried out at extravaganza scale and notable personalities from all sectors – business, entertainment, etc. – had graced the occasion.
Now, Vogue, which has designed the outfits for soon-to-be bride and groom, and other attendees as well, shared highlights from Anant and Radhika pre-wedding celebration.
The magazine captioned the post, “In March, the three-day pre-wedding celebrations and hastakshar of Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant which included a private concert from [Rihanna], broke the internet. As lavish as that weekend was, it turns out, those celebrations were only the beginning. The couple also held a Mediterranean pre-wedding cruise in May for about 1,200 people and yes, there’s more. However, it seems that the post did not sit right with a few of the netizens. One of the users commented, “A tacky and crass display of excessive material wealth,” while another wrote, “There are people in that country, who likely live very close by them, that do not have access to water or sanitary living conditions.” A user also described it as a “tone deaf display of excess.”
