Amid tight security, Congress President Mallikarjuna Kharge, his predecessors Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Hyderabad to attend the swearing-in of Anumula Revanth Reddy as CM of Telangana.

Counting of votes for Telangana Assembly Elections 2023 has started at 8 am today. As per the trends so far, Congress seems to be gaining majority here leaving BRS behind with a huge majority. Here Congress seems to be getting 64 seats and BRS is getting 42 seats, while BJP is getting only 6 seats. Voting was held for 119 seats in Telangana on 30 November.

Congress released the final list for Telangana Assembly elections on Thursday (November 9). Voting for 119 assembly seats of the state is on November 30.
 
                  
The party has fielded state unit chief Revanth Reddy against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao from 16-Kamareddy assembly constituency.
 
                  
With this list, the Congress party has fielded candidates on 100 out of 119 assembly seats in Telangana. The party earlier released the names of 55 candidates in their first list.
 
                  
Senior party leaders A Revanth Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Anjan Kumar Yadav are also included in the list of 55 candidates.
