The ruling party TRS MLAs complained against YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) President YS Sharmila to the Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy here on Tuesday for making objectionable remarks against its party President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Ministers and MLAs.
Based on the complaint, the Speaker referred the issue to the Privileges Committee for necessary action.
TRS MLAs led by Ministers Niranjan Reddy and V Srinivas Goud, who submitted a representation to the Speaker, said that a complaint was already filed against Sharmila to the DGP.
In their complaint, the legislators said that Sharmila was insulting the elected representatives by making baseless allegations and inappropriate remarks against the elected representatives in violation of their rights and dignity, they added.
