Rajasthan Election 2023: BJP releases second list, Ex CM Vasundhara Raje fielded from Jhalarpatan

Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje to contest from Jhalarpatan constituency, while the party has fielded Satish Poonia from Amber; Rajendra Rathore from Taranagar and Jyoti Mirdha from Nagaur.

On Saturday, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its second list of 83 candidates for the upcoming Rajasthan assembly elections 2023. The list includes the names of senior party leaders like former CM Vasundhara Raje, Satish Punia and Rjendra Rathod.

The ruling party in Centre has fielded former Chief Minister and BJP’s National Vice-President Vasundhara Raje from Jhalarpatan constituency, while the party has fielded fromer BJP Rajasthan chief Satish Poonia from Amber; Rajendra Rathore from Taranagar and Jyoti Mirdha from Nagaur.

With this list, the BJP has officially declared candidates on 124 constituencies in the 200-member assembly. The voting for all 200 seats will be conducted in a single phase on November 25, while the counting of votes and decleration of results will take place on December 3, 2023.
