Campaigning for Madhya Pradesh assembly elections have reached its final phase. The campaign will be stopped at 5 pm on 15th November. All political parties are busy campaigning with full vigour for the assembly elections to be held on 17th November. On Monday (November 13), the Congress party’s road show started from Emami Gate in Bhopal, which reached Budhwara via Peer Gate, Moti Masjid in front of Saraswati Prakasha. The two and a half kilometre long road show covered two constituencies of Bhopal, North and Central.

Over the alleged viral video of Union Minister’s son, Rahul Gandhi said: “The video of Narendra Singh Tomar ji’s son is going viral, in which he is talking about transactions worth crores of rupees. That’s your money. Devendra Tomar’s video, Mahakal Corridor Scam, Mid Day Meal Scam, Vyapam Scam and Patwari Recruitment Scam — all the BJP leaders of Madhya Pradesh are involved in corruption, but PM Modi does not get them investigated.”

Rahul Gandhi further said that Business tycoon Gautam Adani is the ‘best friend’ of PM Modi. “You ask anyone – who is Adani? Everyone will tell that he is Modi ji’s best friend. BJP government gave airport, agriculture storage, infrastructure everything to Adani. Modi government is taking money out of the pockets of farmers, small shopkeepers and youth and putting it in the pockets of Adani.”

“Congress has defeated BJP in many states and is now going to defeat it in Madhya Pradesh,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi also recalled the promises been made by the BJP and PM Modi before the elections. Further, he raised the issue of deaths caused due to lack of oxygen during the Covid time.

“Narendra Modi ji had said — 15 lakh rupees will be deposited in every bank account, will eliminate black money by demonetization. During the time of Corona, people were made to switch on the lights of mobile phones and make them play thali. But nothing happened. Lakhs of people in Madhya Pradesh died of Corona due to not getting oxygen and medicines on time. This is their politics,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Well, the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are scheduled on November 17, followed by counting of votes and declaration of results on December 3.
