Tata Steel stock saw a positive trading session today after opening higher at Rs 143 compared to the previous close of Rs 140.85.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 150.65 and low of Rs 143 before closing at Rs 149.95, registering a solid gain of 6.5% over yesterday’s close. Robust trading volumes of over Rs 185,503 lakhs were seen, higher than the 20-day average volume of Rs 42,843,202 lakhs.

Tata Steel currently has a total market capitalization of around Rs 187,190 crores, cementing its position as one of the most valuable metal & mining stocks in India.
