Tata Motors witnessed a volatile session on Monday, 4th March 2024, with the stock moving in a wide range before ending marginally lower.
The shares kicked off the day on a strong footing, opening at Rs 993.25 compared to the previous close of Rs 988.35. Buying momentum pushed the price to an intraday high of Rs 995.00. However, profit-booking emerged at higher levels, dragging the stock to an intraday low of Rs 980.10. Tata Motors finally settled at Rs 987.20, recording a modest loss of 0.12% over its previous close.
The traded value for the session was a robust Rs 60,066.13 lakhs. As of today’s close, Tata Motors commands a market capitalization of around Rs 3,28,071 crores.
