Swan Energy witnessed a 4% surge in its stock price after posting impressive Q3 FY25 results. As of 9:52 AM, the shares were trading 4.19% higher at Rs 457.60.

The company’s consolidated net profit skyrocketed by 406.30% to Rs 582.81 crore, compared to Rs 115.11 crore in Q3 FY24, signalling robust financial performance.

Revenue from operations increased by 19.88% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,908.18 crore in Q3 FY25, as against Rs 1,591.67 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year. The company also managed to significantly reduce total expenses by 87.94% YoY to Rs 2,669.75 crore.

Breaking down the expenses, the cost of materials consumed rose by 40.98% YoY to Rs 1,822.11 crore, while employee benefit expenses jumped 171.36% YoY to Rs 28.90 crore. Finance costs, however, saw a decline of 22.24% YoY to Rs 44.73 crore.

On the segment front, revenue from the textile business dropped 62.05% to Rs 18.80 crore. The energy segment contributed Rs 191.21 crore, while the construction segment saw a 12.96% YoY increase, reaching Rs 30.32 crore in Q3 FY25.
