Pharmaceutical major Lupin reported a strong set of Q4 FY26 earnings, with net profit and revenue witnessing sharp year-on-year growth driven by improved operational performance and higher sales.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2026, Lupin posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,468.7 crore, up 87.5% compared to ₹782.4 crore reported in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company’s total revenue from operations rose 31.9% YoY to ₹7,474.7 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹5,667.1 crore in Q4 FY25.

Lupin’s profit before tax (PBT) surged 115.2% year-on-year to ₹1,928 crore against ₹895.8 crore reported in the same quarter previous year.

Total income for the quarter stood at ₹7,615.4 crore, registering a growth of 33% from ₹5,724.1 crore in Q4 FY25.

On the operational front, total expenses increased 29.5% YoY to ₹5,556 crore as compared to ₹4,282.4 crore in the year-ago quarter. Employee benefit expenses rose 24.1% to ₹1,242.7 crore, while other expenses climbed 30.5% to ₹2,209.3 crore.

EBITDA, calculated before exceptional items, finance costs, depreciation and tax, also witnessed healthy growth during the quarter amid strong revenue expansion and improved margins.

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2026, Lupin reported revenue from operations of ₹27,958 crore, up 26% from ₹22,707.9 crore in FY25.

Annual net profit jumped 62% to ₹5,355.5 crore compared to ₹3,306.3 crore reported in the previous financial year.

The company also reported annual profit before tax of ₹6,872.6 crore for FY26, registering a rise of 71.2% over ₹4,015 crore in FY25.
