Max Financial shares jumped more than 6% in morning trade after the company reported strong Q2 FY25 results.

The firm reported a total income of ₹13,376 crore, a 31.3% rise year-on-year (YoY) from ₹10,189 crore in the second quarter of FY24.

Net profit decreased by 18.2% YoY to ₹139 crore, from ₹170 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The company’s net interest income (NII) increased by 45% YoY to ₹115 crore, from ₹79 crore in Q2 FY24.

As of 9:21 am, Max Financial shares were trading 5.82% higher at Rs 1,238.60 on the NSE.
