The Jal Jeevan Mission, launched in 2019, has been a game-changer in expanding rural tap water access, increasing coverage from 17% to 79.74% as of February 1, 2025. With the government extending the initiative until 2028, an additional Rs 4 lakh crore is required to reach full coverage, with Rs 67,000 crore allocated for FY 2025-26.

JTL Industries is poised to benefit from this massive infrastructure push, thanks to its reputation as a trusted GI pipe supplier. The company reaffirmed its commitment to India’s water security, emphasizing its capability to fulfill large-scale infrastructure demands.

In the meantime, on February 1, JTL Industries announced its expansion into the high-demand Lattice Towers segment, reinforcing its commitment to value-added products. To support this initiative, the company has established a cutting-edge manufacturing plant in Derabassi, Punjab, with a production capacity of 1,500 tons per month. This Greenfield Project, spanning 12 acres, is set to commence operations by H2FY26.
