Top gainers
K.P. Energy was the session’s strongest performer among energy stocks, gaining 6.01% on BSE to ₹329.85. The stock is not listed on NSE.
Suzlon Energy rose 5.56% on BSE to ₹48.40 (NSE: ₹48.39, up 5.52%), continuing to attract attention in the renewable energy segment.
HPCL advanced 4.91% on BSE to ₹366.15, while BPCL gained 4.43% to ₹305.60. Both public-sector oil marketing companies were among the day’s notable movers.
Gulf Oil Lubricants climbed 4.03% to ₹926.30 on BSE (NSE: ₹928.00). Deep Industries added 3.28% to ₹478.00. Veedol Corporation rose 2.97% to ₹1,409.90.
Among gas distributors, Gujarat State Petronet was up 2.91% at ₹243.95 and GAIL gained 2.02% to ₹156.75.
Reliance Industries rose 1.75% to ₹1,337.50 on both exchanges.
Modest gains
Inox Green Energy added 2.56% to ₹164.10. IOC rose 2.76% to ₹144.95. Bharat Coking Coal gained 2.80% to ₹33.45.
Petronet LNG was up 1.68% at ₹268.90. Indraprastha Gas rose 1.51% to ₹164.70. MRPL added 1.14% to ₹172.85. Linde India gained 1.26% to ₹7,327.65.
Castrol India edged up 0.81% to ₹180.10. Mahanagar Gas barely moved, up 0.11% to ₹1,073.75. ONGC was nearly flat, up 0.14% to ₹287.90 on BSE.
Decliners
Selan Exploration Technology hit the lower circuit, falling 5.00% to ₹585.30 on BSE (NSE: ₹585.40, also –5.00%).
Hindustan Oil Exploration declined 4.52% to ₹151.00 on BSE (NSE: –4.36%). Oil India fell 2.70% to ₹464.50. Gujarat Gas lost 2.11% to ₹745.60. Confidence Petroleum slipped 2.62% to ₹53.10 on BSE; it is not listed on NSE.
