Can Fin Homes Ltd. saw its shares rise by over 3% today, trading at ₹712.25, following the announcement of its Q3 FY25 results.
The company reported a 6% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹212 crore, up from ₹200 crore in the same quarter last year. Additionally, the Net Interest Income (NII) grew by 4.3% YoY, reaching ₹350.4 crore compared to ₹336 crore in Q3 FY24.
The company also posted a 9.4% increase in total income from operations, which stood at ₹986 crore compared to ₹901 crore in Q3 FY24. However, slight increases in non-performing assets (NPAs) were noted, with the gross NPA ratio rising to 0.92% from 0.88% in the previous quarter and the net NPA ratio climbing to 0.50% from 0.47%.
Key highlights for Q3 FY25 (Three months ended December 31, 2024):
- Interest Income: ₹980.32 crore, a growth of 9.6% YoY compared to ₹894.84 crore in Q3 FY24.
- Net Profit: ₹212.12 crore, up 6% YoY from ₹200.14 crore in Q3 FY24.
- Total Income from Operations: ₹986.15 crore, an increase of 8.5% YoY from ₹901.93 crore in Q3 FY24.
For the nine months ending December 2024, Can Fin Homes reported an 11% YoY growth in interest income to ₹2,859.73 crore and a 14.8% YoY rise in net profit to ₹623.25 crore. Total income from operations during this period reached ₹2,879.97 crore, marking a 10.9% increase YoY.
