Blue Star bags Rs 128 crores project from Wistron Infocomm, shares jump 3%

On November 9, the Blue Star share price jumped 3 percent intraday as the company won an order from a Taiwanese iPhone manufacturer. The order came from Wistron Infocomm at a valuation of Rs. 128 crores for Mechanical Electrical and Plumping work for the factory’s expansion project.

The company said it is one of the largest project executions in the factory segment by Blue Star. The project comprises of supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems of 4000 Ton capacity. Additionally, it includes HT and LT electrical with a combination of switchgear, transformer and DG sets, fire-fighting, plumbing, compressed air system, and sophisticated Building Management Systems.

B Thiagarajan, Managing Director, Blue Star said, “Our value proposition is superior project delivery through intelligent engineering, modern execution practices, and committed teams,” and with the Aatma Nirbhar Bharat-related programs gaining momentum, we expect the manufacturing sector to contribute significantly to our growth.”

At 10.12 hrs, on the BSE, Blue Star was quoting at Rs 666.80, up to Rs. 9.30, or 1.41 percent.
