Mumbai, July 26: The Rupee on Tuesday declined five paise to close at 79.78 against the USD on rising demand for US Dollar from bankers and exporters, dealers at the Foreign Exchange said.
The domestic unit eased three paise at 79.76 in early trade, finished at 79.78, dropped five paise as compared to its previous close.
The Rupee unit registered the day’s high and low at 79.76 and 79.82 respectively against the US Dollar, the dealer added.
