Bigg Boss 17 took a dramatic turn as one of the strongest contestants, Munawar Faruqui, faced challenges due to revelations from his personal life. Viewers’ reactions vary, with some thinking Munawar’s true side is exposed, while others believe the makers shouldn’t have brought his personal life into the spotlight.
Celebrities including Aly Goni, Abhishek Malhan, and Kamya Panjabi expressed support for the rapper-comedian amid the recent developments. Munawar had a significant emotional outburst in a recent episode, which led to his sister open up on her take on the entire situation.
Media outlet, Pinkvilla tried reaching out to Munawar’s brother-in-law Altak Shaikh, who is also his property dealer. In the interview, Altak was asked about the atmosphere in the house after the major revelation on the show, to which he hesitantly responded, ‘Sab theek hai, Alhumdolilah’ (Everything is OK).
As per their reports, Munawar’s sister Shabana expressed shock, saying, “It was definitely shocking for us, we didn’t have any idea about the same. It is shocking for the family and all of his fans. I don’t want to speak much about the same. We will get a better picture after a few days. Let the Weekend Ka Vaar pass, I’ll be in a better position to speak after that.”
Shabana added, “On Munawar’s emotional breakdown, it was disheartening. But he is a strong individual, he will surely pull himself up and get back to normalcy. He is very emotional and sensitive; he cries very easily. I believe Allah will make things better.”
In the show, Munawar mentioned being in a relationship with Nazila Sitashi. However, things took an ugly turn when actress Ayesha Khan stated that Faruqui was involved with her too while he was dating Sitashi.
