After its theatrical run, the movie received mixed responses from critics and audiences. The story revolves around four buddies who decide to catch an elephant in order to make money. The video depicts a massive herd of elephants entering the little village woodland via the Kadamur forest due to a seasonal shift in weather from the Karnataka jungles.
After receiving the information, the forest department informs the people that they should avoid the woodland region and not enter for any reason. However, the four buddies plan to catch the elephant. Will they be successful in their objective or fall into trouble?
Kalvan’s cast includes Bharathiraja, Ivana as Balamani, Vinodh Munna, G. Gnanasambandam as Balamani’s father, Dheena as Soori, and Maruthupandi. G. Dilli Babu produced it, and PV Shankar handled the cinematography.
