The upcoming series is directed by award-winning director Hemant Gaba and produced by Amrit Walia. The script is written by Alok Sharma. The cast includes Meet Mukhi, Luke Kenny, Akshat Singh, Harshit Bhojwani, Hitesh Dave, Riva Arora, Rahul Singh, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Varun Kapoor and Zoya Alfroz.
While being asked about the new series, Hemant says, “Our protagonist, Parth, is one such teenager who fails in his exam and is now in the same class as his bright, sassy, younger brother. An object of derision and ridicule, he lives in the small Himalayan town of Bheem Mukteshwar and one afternoon, on his way from school, lands up in the nearby forest, which is believed to be haunted by a Van Rakshak (Demon of the Forest) at that particular time of the year when a Sanjeev tree arrives after 50 years.”
The show is targeted towards all audience groups and it mainly focuses on the lives of children who are going through a difficult time in their lives. It does not cater to any horrifying aspects but does touch upon some interesting subject matter and will teach some vital lessons. The well-known mythologist Devdutt Pattanaik has been a consultant during the entire scriptwriting procedure.
