Blackout: Vikrant Massey, Mouni Roy’s crime thriller comedy to release on THIS date

The movie, which was originally slated to be released in May, will now be released in August 2024.

On Tuesday, actor Anil Kapoor released the teaser for Vikrant Massey’s film ‘Blackout’. ‘Blackout’, directed by Devang Bhavsar, is described as a crime thriller comedy.


It also features Mouni Roy and Sunil Grover. Anil Kapoor took to Instagram to share the teaser link, writing, “Samay Samay ki baat hai, dekhte hai yeh raat ka badshah koun hai #BlackoutTeaser Out now!#Blackout streaming June 7th exclusively on #JioCinemaPremium.”


Blackout, produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Niraj Kothari, will be available on JioCinema starting June 7. Devang Bhavsar, Abbas Dalal, and Hussain Dalal co-wrote the film.

With its unique storytelling style, viewers can expect unexpected twists and turns that will keep them on the edge of their seats. Vikrant Massey’s presence in the film adds another layer of intrigue.

Vikrant is also going to appear in ‘The Sabarmati Report’ starring Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. Vikrant plays Samar Kumar, a vernacular journalist who collaborates with a fellow reporter (Raashii Khanna) and a veteran anchor (Ridhi Dogra).

The film is directed by Ranjan Chandel. Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan are the film’s producers.
