
The famous K-pop boyband has been winning hearts since 2013. Recently, The boyband released their second English single ‘Butter’. ‘Butter’ had already broken several records set by ‘Dynamite’. The boyband has even rocked the Billboard Music Awards by bagging the award from all the four nominated categories. BTS not only won the award for Top Social Artist but also bagged Top Selling Song, Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist.
BTS’ Butter, got the most concurrent views, with a number of 3.8 million people watching its premiere. Moreover, the song also collected the title of the most viewed music video in 24 hours, with Butter. Earlier, the title belonged to Dynamite, a BTS’ song itself. In less than 24 hours, Butter had 101.2 million views on the music video. Moreover, the tech giant, YouTube confirmed that in 24 hours the views spiked at around 108.2 million views. Also, grabbing 55 million views in 10 hours was not a big deal for Butter.
Apart from its records on YouTube, Butter went on to break records on the music streaming apps as well. Spotify recorded “11,042,335 global streams in just one day, breaking the record for the most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours.” Moreover, Spotify also confirmed that the BTS’ song, Butter has been “streamed 16.3 billion times on Spotify, breaking the record for the most-streamed act on Spotify (group).”
The craze of BTS has just multiplied over the years. The Korean pop band is a septet of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. All have huge fanbases as individuals also.
