Kunal Kapoor has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. This epic production already has big names like Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, with the former in the role of Lord Rama and latter playing the part of Goddess Sita. The addition of Kunal to the cast promises to bring even more excitement to this grand project.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Kunal has started preparing for his role in Ramayana and is very busy rehearsing and trying on costumes, showing how dedicated and hard-working he is for this movie. Even when Kunal’s character details are still unknown, his inclusion is generating significant interest among fans as well as industry insiders.
Apart from Kunal, the movie will also feature South star Yash, who will don the role of powerful Ravana, Lara Dutta, who will be taking up the character of Surpanakha, and Sunny Deol, reportedly in the role Lord Hanuman. Thus, these eminent actors are supposed to add gravity and emotion to this timeless epic. Much else demands his time besides Ramayana since Kunal Kapoor has other plans. He has just finished shooting for Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter produced by Siddharth Anand and featuring Saif Ali Khan among others.
