Kangana Ranaut urges to “refrain from rumour” regarding ‘Thalaivi’ release date

Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram Stories to clear the words about the release date of her upcoming movie ‘Thalaivi’.

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut’s forthcoming biographical film ‘Thalaivi’ is about the life of Politician and Veteran film actress, J. Jayalalithaa, who served six times as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Kangana will be seen portraying the character of Jayalalithaa. With the first release date of the film pushed further, the rumours of the original release date begun spreading over the internet. Kangana took to her Instagram stories and opened about the date release of her film. The actress wrote, “No release date has been finalized for #Thalaivi yet, please refrain from rumours, we will release the film as and when cinemas open all across the country.”

Kangana Ranaut starrer biographical movie Thalaivi was originally scheduled to release on 23 April 2021 but was halted due to increasing COVID-19 cases. Rumours were fluttering about the fresh release date, but the actress currently cleared all rumours regarding Thalaivi’s release date.

Additional, Kangana is currently shooting for her upcoming action thriller movie Dhaakad. Speaking about her character ‘Agni’ from the action-thriller movie, Kangana explained that Agni was her narrative of the goddess of death, Bhairavi. She wrote, “They call her Agni, the brave one #dhaakad I say she is my depiction of Bhairavi the goddess of death … #dhaakad.”
