Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, Raksha Bandhan has finally gone on floors, today.
The film is directed by Anand L. Rai and also stars Bhumi Pednekar. This film has been very close to Akshay as he will be dedicating this film to his elder sister, Alka Hiranandani.
Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a glimpse from the first day of the shoot. He posted a picture in which he was seen sitting and talking to the director, Anand L. Rai. The actor was carrying the clapper board in his hand and was seen wearing a yellow kurta. He seemed ready and excited for the shoot which was quite evident from the red tilak he was wearing on his forehead.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar, commented a heart emoji on the post. Akshay’s fan were very happy to see the beginning of the shoot and are excited for the movie.
Raksha Bandhan is a tale of a brother-sister’s bond. A man with four sisters is ready to go to any extend to keep his sisters happy. The film also stars few newcomers like “Shikara” actor Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna and Smrithi Srikanth in the role of Akshay’s sisters.
The movie is produced by Colour Yellow Production along with Cape of Good Films and is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon.
