The unforgettable trio from ‘The Fiery Priest’ will be back for a new season!
‘The Fiery Priest’, which first aired in 2019 is about a Catholic priest with anger management issues and a cowardly detective who work together to solve a murder case. The first season of the show starred Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun.
It has been recently confirmed that the drama will be returning for its second installment, where all three actors will be reprising their roles.
Kim Nam Gil will be returning as hot blooded Catholic priest Kim Hae II. Although, he seems to be a graceful priest, he has a dirty temper, which has raised the anticipation for Kim Nam Gil among the viewers.
Honey Lee will reprise her role of prosecutor Park Kyun Sun, who has a silver tongue, great combat skills, and guts.
Kim Sung Kyun will transform into detective Goo Dae Young, who has been assigned to violent crimes at Gudam Police Station.
In addition to the above news, it has been confirmed by GILSTORY ENT that Sung Joon will also be joining the cast for the upcoming season. He has been roped in to play the role of Kim Hong Sik, a drug lord, who is back to his home town Busak with intention of committing all sort of evil deeds.
